okay what's the modem comand to temporarily disable call-waiting? been too long since i had to do this .............. is it *70 ?? don
The modem doesn't know anything about call-waiting. The digits are part of the dialing string you send to your local phone switch. Thus, they are local-carrier-dependent. With Verizon/GTE in Los Angeles, the dialing prefix is ``70#'' I believe it is *70 in other areas. --Steve Augart Donald Knecht wrote:
