[SLE] Newbie Questions: SuSe Upgrade
Hello, I am an experienced Newbie in Linux and more of a Newbie on SuSe. I have SuSe 6.1 running on a very standard machine (no hardware problems!)... I wanted to know if it was possible to "upgrade" my machine up to 6.3 (or even 6.2). However, I do not want to have to buy the whole upgrade. How do I know what files I need from ftp.suse.com? I am more concerned w/ upgrading the kernel and the libs than getting all the bells and whistles. Specifically, I would like to be able to run kdevelop, but get an error saying that some libs are missing. I visited suse.com and I cannot get a clear picture of what I should get for an "upgrade" like this. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
