Hello Joshua, what qt3 version do you have installed. If this is not qt3-rsync you'll get the underneath behaviour. The kde3 pkgs that are available need the before mentioned qt4 version. I don't know why you need to remove netscape6, galeon, nautilus and mozilla. what happens if you perform an apt-get -S install netscape6. Just repeat this for the other packages. Once you've a consistent system, it will be easy to keep it up to date. Apt is rather strict in it's dependency checking, there for it wants to correct the current inconsistent packages.
