Is it normal that when I do a "/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart" (through ssh) the system freezes? Omar -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

It is normal that you don't see anything after: "Network is going down NOW!" Because.... the network is down, so Linux has no way to communicate to you. After the network is up again, you should be able to connect. Using Telnet, the current session can be picked up were it left off.
