Hi Everybody! When I try to compile the latest Mplayer sources (0.9pre10,) on SuSE8.0 using the command: ./configure --enable-gui, I get a message at the end of the build stating that the GUI requires GTK which, it claims, is not installed. But, according to rpm, I have gtk-1.2.10-284 installed. The configure.log doesn't complain that I have the wrong version. What gives? -- JAY VOLLMER JVOLLMER@VISI.COM TEXT REFS DOUBLEPLUSUNGOOD SELFTHINK VERGING CRIMETHINK IGNORE FULLWISE

you should install gtk-devel-1.2.10-284!
That was it. Thank you. Although it's worth mentioning that glib-devel-1.2.10 is needed as well. -- JAY VOLLMER JVOLLMER@VISI.COM TEXT REFS DOUBLEPLUSUNGOOD SELFTHINK VERGING CRIMETHINK IGNORE FULLWISE
