I thought I saw a note about some kind of problem with xscreensaver and SuSE 9.0. Is there a known problem? When I try to use it with Gnome, I can use it once and then cannot use it again until I logon again, at which time I can use it once more. If there's not a problem, can anyone give me a clue as to what I might be doing wrong? Don Henson

This has come up before, take a look at the thread that begins at http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e/2003-Nov/1264.html -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0). So is there a chance that I might find a fix for this problem on usr-local-bin at some point in the near future? Don Henson

Well, I was particularly trying not to get people's hopes up too much, I'll certainly try, but can't guarantee anything... After today I'm off for a week anyway, so nothing's gonna happen till Monday 24th. -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0). Understand. I'm an extreme Linux newbie but if I can be of any assistance, let me know. And enjoy your week off. Most of us get too few of those. Don Henson
