[opensuse] Gwenview displaying .raw
How can I prevent Gwenview to display .raw foto's, as I could in earlier versions? André den Oudsten -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Theoretically you can just uninstall libkdcraw23 and the raw support will go away. There are no other apps on my system requiring that lib, so should be safe. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

By doing so yast disappears but libkdcraw23 is not removed.

I think it is not necessary to uninstall something. Just blacklist the undesired file-extensions in gwenwievrc (it is in ~/.kde4/share/config/) within the group [General] add a comma separated list of all unwanted extensions, like BlackListedExtensions=nef,cr2 (if you don't have the [General] group, just add it.) Of course it is always a goof idea to copy to file to a save-name before changing it... hth Daniel -- Daniel Bauer photographer Basel Barcelona http://www.daniel-bauer.com room in Barcelona: https://www.airbnb.es/rooms/2416137 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I introduced under the group [General] BlackListedExtensions=ORF, orf but in Gwenview the .ORF files still are displayed. Did I something wrong? André -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Don't know. It should be followed by an empty line, and maybe there must be no space after the comma - no idea if this helps... also, probably it's enough to put the small caps extension, but I'm not sure. Maybe someone else knows better. -- Daniel Bauer photographer Basel Barcelona http://www.daniel-bauer.com room in Barcelona: https://www.airbnb.es/rooms/2416137 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

An empty line and no space after the comma solved my problem. Thanks, André den Oudsten -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
