[opensuse] Which version of Openoffice to install on 10.2?
Sorry about the repetition, I had to switch accounts and didn't see any responses crop up. On my Opensuse 10.2 machine, Opensuse suggests installing a certain version of OpenOffice. However, it appears that this version requires gcc 4.2.0 to build a necessary component, libstdc++. Is this correct? My problem is that Yast2 doesn't appear to recognize that version of gcc, so how can I install a working version of OpenOffice? Thanks very much! -Mike -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

This should not happen if you install OOo from the right repository. The repositiroes for 10.2 are in the Build Service at: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OpenOffice.org:/STABLE/openSUSE_10... http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OpenOffice.org:/UNSTABLE/openSUSE_... http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OpenOffice.org:/EXTRAS/openSUSE_10... -- Best Regards, Petr Mladek software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: pmladek@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 952 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
