[SLE] SUGGESTION, SUSE 10.1: Place Desktop Icon on left side
Currently, "Desktop Icon" placed on right side which I feel difficult to access. I think better to put the "Desktop Icon" on the left side as used in Windows and Fedora Core. Usually Left Side of taskbar is used for "access something" (i.e: open browser, start menu, open email) while Right Side is used for "display something" (i.e: clock, current antivirus, current download manager). __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Don't know how you have configured *your* desktop but mine has the clock on the right and the 'Big K' (start) on the left. Always has been. -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

He's using Gnome... The "Click here to hide all windows and show the Desktop" button is to the far right. If you right click the button and choose "Move" you can slide it to any part of the panel.... That is what you are looking for right?
