[SuSE Linux] Mouse cursor stuck to top of desktop screen...
Greetings! After finishing the default install of SUSE 5.3, installing the latest Xserver (3.3.3.1?), configuring with Sax and starting up the default desktop (FVWM2?), the mouse cursor will get stuck at the top of the screen. I'm using a PS/2 Logitech wheel mouse. The current error message I'm getting right now is that the Xserver has lost contact with /dev/mouse. Do I need to create symlink to point /dev/mouse/ to /dev/ps2aux? Or do I need a special X-driver for my mouse? Thanks! If it is a PS/2 mouse, you should select PS/2 in SaX. Does GPM work on the console? -- Michael Merritt michael@merrittpop.com | <A HREF="http://www.merrittpop.com/</A">http://www.merrittpop.com/</A> michaelmerritt@email.com | <A HREF="http://www.formax.net/jmm/</A">http://www.formax.net/jmm/</A> ICQ: 21021306 -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
