No. Are you sure the kernel module is loaded? (modprobe vboxdrv) I have virtual box running on a number of different machines and, so far, "it just works -- everytime". If the kernel module is lost somehow, you might try: "sudo rcvboxdrv setup" to rebuild a new kernel module. Other than that, dunno..... -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E. Other than that, dunno.....
I found the problem by running from the command line which pointed to perms problem. Once I fixed that it working perfectly again.
