Hi, generally the redhat rpm's won't work with suse. The errors generally are due to incompatibility between libc5 and glibc. There are also problems where redhat rpm's need to have certain directory structures which are different from Suse, and sometimes redhat rpm's want redhat specific tools installed. Sometimes simple programs will install.
