[opensuse] Update mirror sites?
I hope the threads mentioning that the opensuse update re-director is down explain why I was unable to update last night or today...? I could hit packman and all the others, but not the suse update source. I was just about to blame Sprint, thinking they were tired of all my downloads :-( Per the comments to use mirror sites, I looked in the listing of all mirrors, and none of them mention having the updates available. Would someone point me to the update mirror addresses? Thanks, Tom in NM -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Since you are in NM, this is probably closest, it's in OK. http://linux.nssl.noaa.gov/opensuse/update/10.3/ -- Joe Morris Registered Linux user 231871 running openSUSE 10.3 x86_64 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

they exist. I'm now using mirrors.kernel.org (in my country) and have the update set to... /opensuse/update/10.3/ Now, I'm getting a failure on that, because of an issue with one of the .xml files. Repository 'openSUSE-10.3-Updates' is invalid. File ./repodata/patch-clamav-5009.xml not found on media: ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/%2fopensuse/update/10.3/ Please, check if the URLs defined for this repository are pointing to a valid repository. I'm guessing it will be fixed shortly. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
