While there I saw they had SuSE 9.1 Pro parked right next to Winblows XP on their shelves. I was very pleased to see that. Hopefully this is the beginning of more growth on the desktop. Now if we can just get the major game makers to write games for linux too...

Earlier this year iD software starting shipping a Linux version of it's games on it's disks. Perhaps if we like their titles we ought to buy and let them know what platform we're putting it on. Mike

Shouldn't we look for the Penguin on the game disks, instead. The same penguin you can see on the new game disks from Unreal Tournament (Epic).
