Hi,SuSE-Folkz I wanted to test OpenBSD once. Not so difficult to install after all,but I wanted my SuSE 7.0 back. Well,he didn't want to partition the HD! Format didn't help either. So I putted Windows 98 back (succeeded!) and went for a reinstall of SuSE. Again he refused.Didn't recognize the partitioning of BSD. So I'm back on Win 98,who has screenprobs too. So,my advise, don't install OpenBSD on a disk for SUse. Bye! Jean-Paul Faessen

Have you tried running fdisk and completely wiping out the parition table, or are you trying to format the same parition that OpenBSD used? If my memory serves me correctly, BSD has a different way of partitioning drives.... -Tim -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy R. I had a similar problem with FreeBSD. I solved it by running the FreeBSD setup again... at a certain point, the installation asks you if you want to partition the BSD way, or the "proper" way (for using other OSs on the drive alongside it). I just selected the second option, let it install, then rebooted and could access the partitions with SuSE / YaST. Don't know if OpenBSD has the same option at install time, but prolly worth a look!
