I don't fully understand your procedure. Most of us simply tell YOU (yast online update) to do every thing - though I guess using dial up will take a very long time.

I think I know the culprit - it is an update to yast2 = yast2-sound-2.15-1.1.i586 patch.rpm.

Can somebody confirm or ?
