I noticed there where some updates for 5.3, and being lazy, I fired up YaST and selected update and ftp. It all ready had the suse site, so I told it to go for it. Noticed it kept bombing out not being able to find a "descr" file. Do I need to point YaST Somewhere else versus just taking the defaults? Got on the ftp server ok, just couldn't find the file so immediately closed the connection. Yes, I know I can just download the rpm files which I have in the past. Just that I have a remote user and wanted to give him a simple procedure that should always work. - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

This is intended for a complete update of the system. If you just want to update some packages, just run YaST from the running system and choose "Choose/Install packages" and then "Install packages". -o) Hubert Mantel /\\ _\_v - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
