I have observed misbehaviour in the "vim" supplied with S.u.S.E. Linux.
This was already present in the version that came with S.u.S.E.-5.0, and I hoped it would be cured in 5.1 after upgrade, but apparently it isn't.
5.1 comes with vim 4.6 and I can not reproduce your bugs with this version... ... I was able to reproduce the bug on SuSE 5.1 and Vim 4.6! If noignorecase is set, :s/u/i/g changes only the first lowercase u, if ignorecase is set, it works does the same thing with the first uppercase U. The cursor must not be on the first character of the actual line for this bug to evolve.
