My Zip drive is always connected. It shows on the KDE desktop as "Unmounted". When I try to mount I get this error message: Method "Mount" with signature "ssas" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist I've looked all over the "freedesktop" site and searched my drives for "org.freedesktop" without finding anything that looked promising. I have SuSE 10.2 with the latest kernel update and, I think, the latest Hal update. Any suggestions? -- (o:]>*HUGGLES*<[:o) Billie Walsh The three best words in the English Language: "I LOVE YOU" Pass them on! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yeah, get as much info on the problem as you can, then go to bugzilla and file a bug report. Fred -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Seems to be a fairly common error message, according to Google, with several postings on Suse lists and others. There are apparently already several bug reports.
Seemingly including some you can't see because they're SLES/D related
Might be worth checking those out before filing a new one.
