Well there is a kernel with dos. its just better hidden, and EXT2 is a filesystem the same as FAT is the dos filesystem all a kernel does is runs things to start the operating system so in effect all the /sbin/init.d/ scripts would be equivilent to 'win.com' for windows please don't flame me saying no their not.. :p
in DOS are io.sys, ibm.sys and command.com, in linux, (i think), are the Kernel in a EXT2, with what????.

Si hablas español, espero que me entiendas mejor, en DOS los archivos para iniciar el DOS son IO.SYS, IBM.SYS y COMMAND.COM, con estos son suficientes para arrancar el sistema (habiendo, claro esta, formateado la unidad y ejecutado el SYS.COM).
En linux, (supongo), tendré que instalar el kernel en una unidad EXT2 (preinicializada). Mi duda es la siguiente, quiero hacer la instalación de forma manual, y seleccionar los componentes mínimos necesarios para su funcionamiento. ¡como lo hago!...
