I don't know anything about configuring fingerprint readers. But I believe I read somewhere on the opensuse site (can't remember where) that a number of Yast modules were being deprecated (or permanently removed). This list included the module for configuring fingerprint readers. I believe the list was for 13.2 or Leap, not exactly sure which of the two. Maybe it was the release notes or the project page.
