I have a young friend who has jsut moved to Germany. He wants to start building a computer. He wants to know where he can order parts. He wants an AMD Cpu and a mother board to match. He only know places in the US. He seems to be having a hard time finding places to order the "latest" and "fastest." Of course, he doesn't know any German. Any suggestions? Just tell him to grab one of the german computer magazines and look at the adds. There are several mail order companies in Germany, though I can't say much about their quality of service as I've never used one of them yet. www.alternate.de or www.avitos.de are two that directly come to my mind (both sites in german). How well they are prepared to deal with english only speaking customers I can't tell.
