I am working on a project with storing jpg files in a MySQL database and was worried about storage limits. Out of the box using reiserFS, does 8.2 support file sizes over 2 gig, or do I need to add some additional support for large file systems? Thanks in advance. Greg Engel

Thanks in advance. Out of the box SuSE 8.2 should use resierfs v 3.6

The limit is 2 TiB, see the section "Large file support in Linux" in the adminguide. -- A.M.
