Try Control Centre/Desktop/Panels/Menus
I don't see it. I'm having what sounds like the same problem, although I think the spacing is a result of the enormous icons on the K-menu. Under Desktop/Panels/Menus I see: K Menu: Menu item format (Name only, name (Description) etc.) Show side Image Edit K Menu Quick Browser: Show hidden files Max number of entries Quickstart Menu items: Show the applications most recently used Show the applications most frequently used Max number of entries. I've fiddled endlessly with these and everything that relates to icons and sizes, but I can't get in the icons on the K menu to be the default size that it is in vanilla KDE. Strangely, on my 10.0 desktop, they are the right size, but on every other box I check on (10.0 and 10.1) they're big. Hans
