[opensuse] where to find Latex information (11.3)?
Hello, on my current Suse 10.2 the start page for Latex documentation is /usr/share/texmf/doc/index.html I installed now Suse 11.3 on my laptop, and I believe I installed everything Latex-related, however I can not find such on overview on the Latex-documentation? Hope somebody can tell me where it's hidden. Thanks! Oliver -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Have you installed texlive-latex-doc package HTH Togan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, but that doesn't seem to contain English html-documentation (scrolled through the whole list; apparently that's all what you can do in Yast). Otherwise I found /usr/lib/texmf/doc/texlive/index.html which should be exactly for what I'm looking for, but unfortunately the main source, the "Available package documentation (some 1200 entries)" is a broken link to /usr/lib/doc.html ?? rpm -ql yourpackage|less is helpful for me

/usr/share/texmf/doc/ is where latex documentation normally lives. Having said that I never use the html versions I tend to read the pdf files. HTH Togan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
So it seems 11.3 has a bug here (broken link to html-latex-overview-page). Would you know whom to notify? Thanks for your help. Oliver On Fri, Sep 17, 2010 at 11:51:16PM +0200, Togan Muftuoglu wrote:
