Quick question: I use Evolution at home and now KMail at work. In evolution, I press Ctrl+K to mark messages as read. What's the equivalent in KMail? Alt+M-K-R is really a bit long. Is there something shorter? The KMail handbook lists a couple of shortcuts, but it's really only a few and not what I'm looking for. Thanks Hans

Under Settings->Configure Shortcuts. Select "Mark Message As Read". Select the "custom" radio button and then press your key combination. This should work. Just tested it with Ctrl+K. -- Best regards, Les
