Hello all, Have some questions with SUSE 7.0 install and intial use. 1) When I select the "almost everything" set of packages, I get at RPM error at the end. I can proceed, but it says that RPM has recieved an error. Any ideas? 2) It detects my NIC (Netgear FA310TX), but if does not see my DHCP server - I've got one of the Linksys DSL routers that can acts as a DHCP server.... but alas SUSE does not see it. I have gone in to the kernel and made sure that the tulip driver is compiled into the kernel, but it still does not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've bought the 7.0 Pro version, and when trying to install from the DVD disk, I had the same error at the end of the installation process (RPM returned an error). Then I erased the disks and tried again with the 6 CD's and that worked perfectly. I hope my experience may be of help to you. I've even asked my vendor if to the best of his knowledge there might be an error with the DVD installation. No answer to that particular question as yet. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
