Since I installed SO52 from the rpms from the 7.0 DVD I haven't been able to use it successfully. Everytime I start it up it starts (taking forever - I'm sure it was much quicker when I used it in the past) and then once it's started as soon as I click on anything it hangs my whole system. I can't kill the X-server nor can I change to another terminal. A complete crash. The only upgrades that I have done to my system since the clean install are to KDE2.1 and XFree86 4.02. Has anybody else experienced this or have any idea what might be causing this? Could it have something to do with the jvm that I selected when installing?(Can't remember which one but if anyone has any recommendations I'll uninstall/re-install and set it up differently). TIA, Jethro
