This is what I have found to be the root causes of my problems with gtk under Suse8.1. The default suse location for the pkg-config libs is /usr/lig/pkconfig/ but for some reason alot of apps look for it in /usr/local/lib/pkconfig. I've taken to keeping 2 identical copies, /usr/local/lib/pkconfig and /usr/local/pkconfig. It's just an easy way out. In the pkconfig directory you should have a file gtk+-2.0.pc -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation

Rather than copying, symbolic links can be created. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Everything you'll ever need on one web page from News and Sport to Email and Music Charts http://uk.my.yahoo.com
