I've just upgraded SuSE 8.0 to 8.2 here in my home computer in St.Louis. It' running fine but the printer does not work.. WHen I click on the printer icon I get the following message "KDEInit could not launch 'klpq'. Could not find 'klpq' executable" I looked for "klpq" and "kdeutils3" and "kdeutils3-printing" through YAST2 and could not find it no matter the chosen query options ..... How come ? I cannot install it simply because YAST2 cannot locate it in its database. At the moment my Epsopn printer , which woked foine with SuSE 8.0, srtays idle no matter what. Can someone please help me out of this nighhtmare ? Thank you in advance, Maura

Maura, klpq is contained in SuSE 8.0's kdeutils3-3.0-1.i386.rpm but is not present in 8.2 I would suggest removing the printer and add it again using CUPS. Damian Maura Edelweiss Monville wrote:
