[SuSE Linux] Effect of changing mount point?
Further to my queries about a new installation: if I use YaST to change the mount point of an existing installation (e.g. if I change my existing / to, say, /old, and create a new / on a new partition, will that affect the files that are on that directory? Would they still be accessible? Further, (and I apologize for being stupid here!), I have used fdisk on my new HD. I set up 3 primary partitions, then wanted an extended partition which I would then sub-divide, but selecting 'e' won't allow me to add extra virtual disks within the extended partition. -- Chris Keenan - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
