[opensuse] Finally got got my Microdia webcam working on 10.3
Just want to inform the list that I was able to get my obscure webcam working. Still with some glitches like "RtApiAlsa: overrun detected" and an image that is still not optimal. Has certainly something todo with my missing memory (right now 128M) and running KDE but it is really an aha moment. Used gstreamer factory. Wonder how good 11.0 will be. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hi! I own a Microdia webcam, but it seems that mine is not supported neither by UVC drivers nor GPSCA, would you please tell me the way you make it work, may be I can figure out how to make mine work following your steps. By the way, running lsusb gives me 0c45:624f (SN9C201 driver) Thanks, -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

There is a very active list right now working active on the 0c45:624x webcam. Because my cam needs the SN9C1xx driver I do not follow those threads in detail. But as a start, here is the way to go. Hope this get you started. Wish you luck. That is something you need with a Microdia ;) The Microdia group can be found on https://groups.google.com/group/microdia The list can be reached as microdia@googlegroups.com there is an overview of all Microdia webcams known on https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pyuKEu_RW054Jep2-2In1Fg&hl=en And how to start working on your webcam here https://groups.google.com/group/microdia/web/the-plan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
