Suse 8.0. Can no longer access the internet. dialer prog says cannot find woffle. No can I using the find command. root is denied access to init.d files. I was told to run fschk. did-it requires I not be mounted. its my / partition. solution: run rescue disk. no action when I run it-just dead. What do you mean: "I re-wrote the rescue disk using yast2". The rescue system is a CD (thus read only), the one you got from suse... How did you "write" to it? I don't quite understand what you did... -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
