[SLE] lx_suse.rpm (2.2.14)
Hello all, I am wondering if the rpm of the kernel sources for 2.2.14 resides somewhere I can get at it? Currently the only place is the 6.4 CDs. You'll have to wait a bit until the
ftp version is available.

Philipp, Well, it's kinda funny that I found this file ... ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/freitag/lx_suse.rpm Wonder why it's on the public ftp server, yet it won't be available until the 6.4 files are put up....it's the 2.2.14 source right? Thanks, Philipp Thomas wrote:

Who does tell you that this is our official lx_suse.rpm ? It is in a directory of one of our employee. It could also be a special version, which he would like to test from some people. In the people directoy yo will not find official RPMs, until the README tells you something different. Thorsten
Thanks,

Thorsten, I was just asking a question. You sound rather nasty in this public posting. I didn't mean any harm. I have no problem in waiting for the 2.2.14 kernel. If I had not just spent $2k on other computer related things I would have bought 6.4 by now..I have bought every version from 5.0 - 6.3 not because I had to, but because I wanted to. I just don't like your tone in this mail...sorry, but I don't. Sorry, but your mail sounds like "I have found the kernel on your public ftp server, why do you not tell this us ?" And my answer was, that nothing in "people" is official until there is a README which says something different.
