Hi! I have some questions about different subject. I hope that someone will be able to help me. First which FTP Server is best? I configured ProFTPD but I can't access it from another place. Why? Example, I'm at the University of a friend and I want to access my computer with the FTP, when it try to connect it tell me an error that I can access to it. If I try it on my PC, it works... So what to do to solve this problem. There is another FTP server that works fine and where the configuration is more easily? Do you suggest me another FTP Server? How to configure it well. Also, I would want to disable anonymous access and configure it for users access only. For that too, how to do it, I think I need to create a user on my computer and it's ok, but I'm not really sure. And for disable anonymous?? Next question. How to configure a SSH and telnet server on my computer? What I want to know is generally same informations that I asked higher for FTP Server. How to make it working well? Another question is for PDF on linux. If I have a web page in Konqueror example or a document in starOffice and I want to translate it in a PDF file, what I must do? Which program to use if any exists? I try with a web page in Konqueror to selecte PDF Writer in the printer list. But, this doesn't work. It creates a file, the contents of the web page is inside but really really really small... With the maximum zoom possible is still impossible to read the content... So how to do it and to make it working well? The last question is not really about Linux. Probably I should not post this question here but in the mean time, maybe someone have good suggestions. My computer is really not silent. I'm not able to read with concentration when the computer works. It is really a problem for me and I want to eliminate the noise... What must I buy. Someone can suggest me a good CPU Fan that doesn't make noise and too a good case with silent power supply? Is there an isolated case that don't keep heat inside and prevent from noise? I have a CPU AMD 1.33 / 266.
