[opensuse] VirtualBox guest question
Is it possible to use an backup image file as a VirtualBox guest? I currently have a PC which triple boots Win-7-Ult & openSuSE 12.2/12.3. I would like to move the windows installation to a VB guest without having to uninstall and install fresh into the guest in order to meet the %^&* MS licensing policy. There is a wiki on how to convert a Win installation to a VirtualBox VM ... however, the problem is different hardware in the VM. You'll most likely run into blue screens at bootup. I've had more luck with VMware Converter in the past. Have a nice day, Berny -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
