[opensuse] "Cut" performance in kde vs "mv" in shell

Konqueror have their own protocol/function (what they call it ?) for browsing directory. i.e: file:///, smb://, fish:// etc. i just realized that "Cut" and "Paste", when the "source" and "destination" is in the same machine and partition, is like doing download from another machine. When i go to shell and do, # mv x y ../dir is just like a second, maybe less (where x is 4GB and y is 3GB) from my perspective view this is a bug. but maybe other's have different view. question 1: so what do you think ? bug or not ? question 2: if this is a bug where should i report, bugzilla.novell.com first or going directly to bugs.kde.org ? -- # uname -a Linux bubu 2.6.22.17-0.1-default #1 SMP 2008/02/10 20:01:04 UTC i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux # konqueror -v Qt: 3.3.8b KDE: 3.5.9 "release 61.4" Konqueror: 3.5.9 # rpm -qa | grep kdelib kdelibs3-3.5.9-61.4 # rpm -qa | grep kdebase kdebase3-SuSE-10.3-152 kdebase3-3.5.9-90.2 kdebase3-samba-3.5.9-90.2 kdebase3-nsplugin-3.5.9-90.2 kdebase3-runtime-3.5.9-90.2 kdebase3-session-3.5.9-90.2 kdebase3-ksysguardd-3.5.9-90.2 kdebase3-kdm-3.5.9-90.2 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
