Finding Executable SUID Files
I was interested in using the find command to perform a search for the SUID attribute. I tried the below find command but I comes back as an error "Usage: find [path...] [expression]" find / \ -path '/proc' -prune \ -or \ -perm -u+s \ -exec ls -l {} \; \
/tmp/suid_list &
I checked the man pages and it looks right but I must be missing something (obviously) -- Bob

find / \( -perm -04000 -o -perm -02000 \) -type f You'll want to make sure you don't run this over /dev/ or /proc -- -ckm
