Lenz, You are right of course about 6.3 right out of the box, however ReiserFS works just fine with 6.3 (including Journaling) if the patches available from your site are applied and a new CD 1 is created and used for the installation. I have installed ReiserFS on two of my machines few months ago and I am very happy with it (the journaling feature saved my butt few times when I powered my laptop off by mistake...) Well, the ReiserFS support in SuSE Linux 6.3 is not recommended for productive use. This version of ReiserFS did not have the journaling part! I would not recommend you to do that, use SuSE Linux 6.4 instead, if you want to use ReiserFS.
