I've just been looking around for a portable MP3 player that is Linux-friendly. The Pontis player is on my short list because it claims to come with Linux software, However, it doesn't give any info about requirements. Anyone see any reason it wouldn't work with my SuSE 6.3? If anyone has any recommendations/warnings on other portable mp3 players I'd also like to hear from you (though maybe direct to me at jmgrant@primenet.com would be more appropriate for that than here on the list).
