[opensuse] selecting different video card in Yast - Suse 10.0
Hello, The MB has on onboard VIA video card that freezes the computer after Yast, Sax2, or X tries to access it. I noticed that in 9.3 you can select a different video card in Yast (or Sax), but not in 10.0. In 9.3 I can atleast select VESA frambuffor mode to get X running, but no such option in 10.0. Any ideas? James D. Parra Systems Administrator, IT Dept. Perhaps you have to install the other card to force the MB to ignore the onboard otherwise there should be a bios disable for the onboard, this is how my MSI works. I just lack the $ for Nvidia / ATI 3d at this time. -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
