Hi ! I got a problem during the ccompilation of WineX CVS :( This is the error : gcc does not recognize the -fshort-wchar option Apparently, gcc 2.95 does not recognize this option but gcc 3 does. This option enable some Windows games written in C to run under Linux with Wine (16 bits code apparently) Is it difficult to switch from gcc 2.95 to gcc 3.2 ? Do you have another solution ? arnaud

Not really.. But you probably don't want to over write your 2.95 in any case.
Do you have another solution ?
You could try the 3.0 version on your cds. I gets put in /opt somewhere and will not overwrite your 2.95. You might have to muck around with your makefiles to get it to use the one in /opt though. Mark
