Hi guys- I have a dsl firewall/nat box which is running debian now and has been up for almost 100 days with good service. I have been considering moving it to SuSE Linux 7.1 and would like to hear some opinions of the personal firewall features that SuSE 7.1 ships with. Anyone using it on a dsl line as a firewall/nat box? Comments or approaches you have taken? thanks. -- Michael Perry mperry@tsoft.com ------------------

If you're serious about replacing something that already works then you should really consider OpenBSD as your firewall/NAT box. It doesn't have all the loose ends of a typical Debian or SuSE install but has more features than a typical Linux router distro, and it's secure by default. Greg
