I am trying to get the following macro to work in Mutt: macro compose I ":set ispell=newsbody-ispell-dansk\n" "ispell-dansk" All I got was a flickering cursor and what looked like a Mutt freeze (no commands worked). Any ideas? Cheers, Brian

I am trying to get the following macro to work in Mutt:
macro compose I ":set ispell=newsbody-ispell-dansk\n" "ispell-dansk"
Try removing the "\n" -- Mads Martin Jørgensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A. P. J.

I get the response: :set ispell=newsbody-ispell-danskispell-dansk This can't be right can it? Nothing happens when I press the return key. Cheers, Brian

Ah. How about: macro compose I ":set ispell=newsbody-ispell-dansk\n ispell-dansk" And if that does not work, what is it you want to do? -- Mads Martin Jørgensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A. Well, then I would suggest doing it from your editor just before leaving it and getting to the Mutt send-menu. -- Mads Martin Jørgensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A. P. J.

Anyone know how to invoke iSpell and switch dictionaries in vi? I have looked throught the O'Reilly Pocket vi and vi reference books and iSpell Man pages. I found absolutely zilch. Cheers, Brian

You can just call it with ispell -d dansk or make an alias ispellda to that command. -- Mads Martin Jørgensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A. P. J.
