Sometimes it helps to put the final / on the path- http://www.xxx.yyy/images/ otherwise you have to chmod the folder with the images to give "others" read access.

Check your permisions for the images directory. It should be 777.

no it should be 755 777 means anyone can write to that directory and run scripts from it and on a web server this would be a bad, very bad, thing. is the images directory in your root web directory or is somewhere else in your file system and symlinked to your root web directory? if it is, then you may need to configure apache to allow symlinks (although i have used symlinks before and never had a problem) On Fri, 7 Sep 2001, Victor R. This will make it so anyone can add, modify, delete or run various things that you probably don't want them doing. At the most, it should be 755 for the directory and 644 for files in the directory. vc> > Brandon Caudle vc> vc> -v vc> -- S.Toms - smotrs@mindspring.com - www.mindspring.com/~smotrs SuSE Linux v7.0+ - Kernel 2.2.18 Fortune's Real-Life Courtroom Quote #52: Q: What is your name?
