I got the file, openvpn-2.5.1-lp152.193.1.src.rpm, then tried to compile along with checking dependency problem, etc.
With my environment, I could compile without difficulties or problems.
Then, I installed. It works fine.
How about this method?
It doesn't work for me. What are you running the server on? Mine's on pfsense.

I'm using just a vpn client with nordvpn's server. The combination of v2.5.1 + nordvpn server is very nice, best ever. You've got the setting issues, I think. No, it's not a settings issue, as I can connect on the local LAN. For years, I have been using my 2nd IPv4 address¹ for testing. That broke with the recent update to pfsense 2.5.0. I can connect if I tether to my cell phone, but not with my 2nd address. I most recently did that the day before I updated pfsense. Both the pfsense OpenVPN log and Packet Capture show the connection attempts, but for some reason it fails. I have no idea why, but it's definitely a pfsense 2.5.0 issue. 1. My ISP provides 2 IPv4 addresses through a cable modem. The addresses are not within the same /23 subnet.
