Re: [SuSE Linux] Help with dialing in to ISP
---Reply to mail from Aaron Prohaska about [SuSE Linux] Help with dialing in to ISP
.... I am now trying to get connected to my ISP and don't know how to get my modem to dial. Does anyone have a recommendation for what I should use for dialing at the command prompt?
I suggest you look at WvDial: <A HREF="http://www.worldvisions.ca/wvdial/</A">http://www.worldvisions.ca/wvdial/</A> It automates setting the configuration for your modem, and requires you to enter only three items to configure it: ISP's phone number, user name and password. Works in xterm, in KDE instead of Kppp and the command line.
