I did not see a reply to this. I certainly don't have a clue what application leaves those. I would look for some application beginning with svi. Additionally, you can use the lsof command to track open files. Most applications that create temporary files SHOULD create them in the /tmp or /var/tmp directory and clean up after themselves.
