I have been trying to get the plyugins for Mozilla Firefox to work for the AMD64 version. I have tried searching the net and so far only hints that the 32 bit version will work. I tried to get the standard plugins, macromedia and realaudio to work but neither seems to work. Does that mean I have to install the 32 bit version for it to work? -- Joseph Loo jloo@acm.org

There are no 64-bit plugins so far and 32-bit plugins won't work. I installed firefox from mozilla.org (32-bit) in /usr/local/firefox and "ln -s /usr/local/firefox/firefox /usr/local/bin/" and used that instead of the SuSE version in /usr/bin, renamed to /usr/bin/FF. All plugins in ~/.firefox/plugins and /usr/local/firefox/plugins work, including the ones for crossover. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
