I am doing a new installation of SuSE 6.4 on an older p133 machine. The problem is that when running LILO, I am getting an error /boot/boot.b does not exist, and it will not run. I have tried re-installing the kernel from YAST to /boot, but still doesn't create boot.b. I have tried to look up man boot.b but there are no entries. How do I get this file created, or how do I run LILO differently? I have also tried installing lilo onto a floppy as well as the MBR of the hard drive and get no success. -Stephen .-'~~~-. .'o oOOOo`. "I am ... a mushroom :~~~-.oOo o`. This file doesn't change with kernels - it comes with the LILO package. Try reinstalling LILO, and the file should be replaced. Bye, Chris -- __ _ -o)/ / (_)__ __ ____ __ Chris Reeves /\\ /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ICQ# 22219005 _\_v __/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\
